Heryte (pronounced “her” + “eat”) is a cultural producer, photographer, and communications and content strategist based in Harlem, New York.
As an American, French, and Ethiopian woman whose existence is nestled in overlapping histories, her practice is rooted in a multilocal and multi-layered approach to cultural storytelling and programming. She creates playful, accessible, and responsive experiences that build communities around art, design, style, and making.
Her work often weaves together lens-based art, cross-generational Black archives, digital culture, and public space.
